Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has confirmed he did not vote for Max Eberl’s contract extension at the most recent supervisory board meeting, deciding to abstain.

“It was only during the meeting that I decided to abstain. I stand by that decision. For me it was important to make my decision independently.”
