Russell Martin says Leicester City are close to completing deals for John Lundstram and Warren O'Hora as they look to finalise late business.

According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, Martin spoke after a 2-0 win over Plymouth Argyle and said the duo’s experience would help a young group.

Earlier in the day, the Foxes completed the signing of Danish striker Emil Riis from Bristol City, introducing him to the King Power Stadium crowd before kick-off.

Martin said Leicester also need another midfield option and noted he did not think there was a midfielder on the bench. He stressed both players have won things and competed at good levels.

He added he has worked with O'Hora before and that familiarity helps. Martin said Lundstram has won titles, earned promotions and was promoted to the Premier League last year, calling it a big coup and stating he is really happy.

On Riis, Martin said the club had identified him earlier in the summer and described his arrival as a huge signing. The window closes at 11pm, with deals still able to go through if paperwork is completed.
