The Russia vs Turkey UEFA Nations League match will be broadcast live online and on TV as Sbornaya hosts the Cresent-Stars at Lev Yashin Stadium this Sunday, October 11, at 11:45 a.m. Pacific.
Russia is coming off a 2-1 loss to Sweden in a friendly match, but has been spectacular in the Nations League so far. Sbornaya previously defeated Hungary 3-2 in what was a thrilling match and began the competition with a 3-1 win against Serbia.
Veteran striker Artem Dzyuba has been one of Russia’s best players so far with two goals scored. Brazilian-born right-back Mario Fernandes is also a very talented player as he scored in Russia’s last Nations League match against Hungary.
Turkey is coming off an impressive 3-3 draw against Germany in a friendly match earlier this week. However, Turkey is yet to win or score in the Nations League with a scoreless draw against Serbia and a 1-0 loss to Hungary.
While Turkey’s attack has proven to be inconsistent the backline with players like Çağlar Söyüncü of Leicester City and Merih Demiral of Juventus has been rigid. The attack has some interesting pieces like Hakan Çalhanoğlu of AC Milan and Enes Unal of Getafe, but it has proven to be ineffective so far.
