The club credited Ker with a central role in that transition, noted his appearances in the Welcome to Wrexham series, and said the show boosted the club and city’s profile worldwide. They also described him as integral to three consecutive promotions and the journey from the National League to the Championship.

Reynolds and Mac issued a short joint message, calling Ker a key part of the Wrexham story and saying his kindness, humour and six foot seven frame will be missed.
