South African international Mihlali Mayambela found the back of the net as Aris Limassol beat Appollon Limassol 2-0 in the Cyprus League on Sunday.
Aris broke the deadlock in the fourth minute, thanks to center-back Josef Kvida, who put the ball past his own goalkeeper.
Mayambela put the game beyond reasonable doubt when he chipped in with a goal in stoppage time to ensure his side walks away with the maximum points.
The 29-year-old Kaizer Chiefs academy product has scored three goals and provided two assists in 16 matches across all competitions.
Aris moved up to third place on the Cypriot topflight standings, having picked up 29 points from 14 league outings.
Meanwhile, Mayambela's compatriot, Luther Singh, saw his side, AEL Limassol, play to a goalless draw against 9-man Olympiakos Nicosia on the same day.
AEL sit seventh with 21 points accumulated from 14 matches, and will be eager to return to winning ways when they face AEK Larnaca on Monday, 22 December.
