Supporters of Walsall and Wolverhampton Wanderers have been warned to expect crowded trains today as both clubs play pre-season friendlies.

A West Midlands Railway spokesperson said services on the Walsall to Wolverhampton route may face heavier demand as fans travel to the fixtures.

Walsall host Notts County at Bescot Stadium from three pm.

Wolves then face Racing Santander at Molineux from five pm.

Rail links between Birmingham New Street, Wolverhampton and Walsall will be busier than usual before and after the matches as supporters travel.
