Serhou Guirassy has scored ten and created four goals in his first 14 games in a Borussia Dortmund top and ahead of hosting leaders Bayern Munich at the Westfalenstadion in tomorrow’s Bundesliga Topspiel, Nuri Şahin made a bold claim.

Speaking in Friday’s press conference, Şahin heaped praise on his forward and stated that he “wouldn’t swap Serhou for any player in the world.” That includes Bayern Munich’s Harry Kane, who broke yet another Bundesliga record last weekend. The Englishman’s hat-trick makes Kane the quickest player to score 50 Bundesliga goals, doing so in 43 games, beating Erling Haaland’s record of 50 goals in 50 games.

Kane’s hat-trick last weekend also takes his tally to 14 goals and seven assists in just 11 Bundesliga games under Vincent Kompany this season.

Guirassy, who should feature after missing Dortmund’s win against Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League in midweek, finds himself up against the best defence in the Bundesliga this season with Bayern Munich conceding just seven goals in 11 games.

Speaking further on Guirassy, Şahin added: “He is one of the best strikers there is.”
