According to a report from Actu Saint-Étienne, confirmed by local Rhône-based outlet Le Progrès, Saint-Étienne defender Dylan Batubinsika (29) was reportedly assaulted by a supporter on his way out of the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard after ASSE’s defeat to OGC Nice this weekend (1-3).It was 7:45pm when an individual approached the vehicle of the DR Congo international. Stopping to sign an autograph, according to Le Progrès, the player was then punched in the face after he lowered the window of his car to respond to the supporter. The aggressor then reportedly fled, and is still on the run. AS Saint-Étienne – when contacted by Actu Saint-Étienne last night – revealed that the player has not yet filed a legal complaint to the authorities.
