Arsenal faced off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 31st minute when Pascal Gross found the back of the net. He worked hard on both halves but failed to make a difference going forward.

Guimaraes struggled to get a foothold in the game and was substituted near the hour mark.

He failed to protect his backline, but was lively with the ball at his feet.

Saka caused a few problems for his marker but failed to threaten the Brighton goal.
