Salah And Gravenberch Get 8 | Liverpool Players Rated In Solid Victory Vs Aston Villa

Liverpool entertained Aston Villa at Anfield earlier tonight as they looked to secure a win at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a solid start to the game and got their noses ahead in the latter stages of the first half thanks to Mohamed Salah’s finish. Arne Slot’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Ryan Gravenberch scored with a deflected effort in the 58th minute as the contest finished with Liverpool securing a solid 2-0 victory at Merseyside.
Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the clash against the Villans.
He made a few solid saves at the back and did enough to earn a clean sheet.
Bradley performed his defensive duties well but struggled to influence the game going forward.
CB: Ibrahima Konate – 6.5/10
He made a lot of crucial clearances inside his half and would be quite pleased with the clean sheet.
CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 7/10
Van Dijk was a rock at the back and did enough to limit the opposition from scoring tonight.

LB: Andy Robertson – 7/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
CM: Ryan Gravenberch – 8/10
Gravenberch anchored the midfield with conviction and was a threat going forward. He scored Liverpool’s second goal in the 58th minute.
CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 7/10
He linked up play well with others around him and managed to secure an assist.
RW: Mohamed Salah – 8/10
Salah caused all sorts of problems for his marker and managed to score after pouncing on Emiliano Martinez’s mistake.
CAM: Dominik Szoboszlai – 7.5/10
Szoboszlai put in a tireless shift and played some excellent passes during the game.
LW: Cody Gakpo – 7/10
He was always willing to run with the ball, but failed to register a goal.
ST: Hugo Ekitike – 6.5/10
Ekitike retained possession well for his team, but never looked like he would score.
