Palmeiras' attack plans have been hit by the sales of Allan and Riquelme Fillipi and a new injury to Paulinho, yet the club's market stance is unchanged for now. They will rely on squad depth, including the academy, and act only if value arises.

Allan has joined Manchester City for 40 million euros, around R$ 240 million, and the club have moved towards a deal with Inter Miami for Riquelme Fillipi, according to Globo.com.

Paulinho has suffered another muscle problem and is out until the end of the next Fifa window on 6 October. The club still expect to use him again this season. Football director Anderson Barros said the forward's dedication and the NSP staff's work underpin their belief he will overcome this phase and remain important.

Palmeiras could repeat the Barboza-style pivot if value appears. Nino at Zenit was a target but a fee of at least R$ 50 million proved prohibitive, while Barboza, out of contract at Botafogo, cost about R$ 20 million. Despite extra funds from sales, the board remain wary of a marquee buy and talks for Danilo of Botafogo did not advance.

Since Allan's exit, links include Luiz Henrique of Zenit and Brazil, and Helinho of Toluca. Luiz Henrique appeals but is seen as costly, with Zenit recently asking Flamengo for 35 million euros. Helinho is in form with three goal involvements in five Apertura games and a fee below R$ 80 million is viewed as unlikely.
