Same words, different coach: Arbeloa mirrors Flick

Real Madrid head coach Alvaro Arbeloa has confirmed that Kylian Mbappe is fit and available for Saturday’s LaLiga match against Real Sociedad.

Speaking at a press conference on Friday, Arbeloa said the French star trained with the squad and is in good condition ending doubts over his availability.

Arbeloa was also asked about Barcelona’s heavy 4-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid in first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.

The Real Madrid coach responded briefly and with hint of sarcasm saying questions about that result should be directed to Hansi Flick or Barcelona themselves.

Title race adds extra pressure

Mbappe’s return is important for Real Madrid as they chase the top spot in La Liga. Madrid sit second with 57 point, just 1 point behind leaders Barcelona on 58.

A win over Real Sociedad who are eighth in the standings, would allow Real Madrid to move top temporarily,increasing pressure on their rivals in the title race.
