Samuel Lino said his visible anger after being taken off in Flamengo's 2-0 win over Mirassol was about the Maracanã pitch, not coach Leonardo Jardim.

The number 16 was replaced by Everton Cebolinha in the 37th minute of the second half. He greeted Jardim but, frustrated, let out expletives. "I was a bit irritated by the game and the pitch, which was not helping. We cannot control that at the Maracanã, we just want a better surface to play better. Asked about a potential Brazil call-up, Lino said: "I am happy to be growing and improving, I thank God. I will keep my head, stay focused, keep giving the fans joy and helping my team."
