San Siro Sale Moves Forward As Key Agreement Approved By City Council

Milan City Council has approved the framework agreement for the sale of San Siro to Inter and AC Milan, marking a major step in the stadium project.
The convention outlines obligations for the purchasing vehicle controlled by the clubs and defines the urban regeneration plan for the entire San Siro area.
Therefore, including environmental measures and large public green spaces, as per FCInterNews.
The project includes a new 70,000–71,500 seat stadium, the relocation and redevelopment of the Patroclo tunnel.
This comes alongside green areas covering 50% of the site.

The sale price is set at €197 million.
Anti-mafia compliance, accessibility safeguards, a carbon-neutrality commitment and an earn-out clause on future gains are part of the agreement.
The buyers must submit the technical plan within nine months.
Furthermore, they must provide 80,000 m² of parkland to the city.
Now, the two clubs will work with their architectural partners to provide their final proposal.
