According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos have agreed a deal with Novibet to become the club’s new main shirt sponsor, worth R$ 35 million per year and potentially rising to R$ 40 million based on performance.

The club is finalising terms with Allwyn, owner of the Novibet brand, and marketing staff are pushing to unveil the partnership in time to place the logo on the shirt for the Paulistão knockout phase.

The betting company had negotiated with Vasco but did not sign, anticipating a higher proposal. Novibet have previously appeared on Fortaleza’s shirt in Brazil.

Santos have been without a main sponsor since January, when 7k Bet requested to terminate its contract, which the board described as amicable. The agreement had been due to run until April 2027, but the company sought an exit amid friction and club mistakes, the report said.

Tensions began with a low-key launch lacking a formal announcement or event, then escalated when president Marcelo Teixeira gave an interview in front of a backdrop showing former sponsor Blaze. In October the club was investigated by the Ministry of Finance over a promotion offering tickets for a derby against Corinthians to those who bet with 7k Bet, and were fined.

Marketing later tried to repair the relationship by granting Santos TV naming rights to the company, but it failed. The 7k Bet deal was worth R$ 51 million in year one and R$ 54 million in year two, with incentives up to R$ 150 million.

Viva Sorte have also ended their partnership after relations soured during last April’s ‘auction’ for the master slot, though they held the back-of-shirt position last year. Current partners include Loovi Seguros, UNIASSELVI, Placo, Next10, Kicaldo, Canção Alimentos, Nissei, Pague Safe and Pley by Ney.
