Santos confident about Neymar's future

Neymar's future at Santos remains uncertain, but club president Marcelo Teixeira is offering reassurance.

Since his return in January 2025, the 33-year-old Brazilian has struggled with injuries, and his contract—extended until the end of the year—is nearing its expiration. Nevertheless, Teixeira believes an agreement is within reach:

Neymar's project is the 2026 World Cup. If there's consensus, he will extend. There is great trust between him and the club, and I believe we'll find a solution at the right moment.

This season, Neymar has scored six goals and provided three assists in 24 matches. His name has recently been linked with a possible move to Inter Miami, but for now, both Santos and Neymar appear determined to discuss a shared future.
