Santos duo one booking from ban for Macará decider

Santos centre-back Luan Peres and forward Rony are one booking from suspension for the Sul-Americana last 16 decider against Macará of Ecuador on Thursday 20 at 19:00 at Estádio Bella Vista, according to Diario Do Peixe.

Left-back Escobar is suspended for the match.

In the Sul-Americana, bookings are only wiped from the quarter-finals onward, so if the pair are cautioned and Santos progress, they would miss the next round. A red card would also trigger a ban.

Rony was booked in the 2-1 first-leg win over Macará, as were Escobar, Barreal and Gabigol.

Earlier in the campaign, cautions were recorded for Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres, Escobar and Rony, among others.
