Santos supporters staged loud protests at Vila Belmiro after a 0-0 first-leg draw with Coritiba in the Copa do Brasil. According to Diario Do Peixe, frustration with the team and board spilled over at full-time.

From the section housing the main organised group, chants rang out accusing the side of being shameless and insisting home wins are an obligation. Fans also condemned what they saw as a passive board and an underperforming squad, warning there is nowhere to hide at Vila Belmiro.

The draw made it three home matches without a win. In that run Santos drew with Deportivo Recoleta and Coritiba and lost to Fluminense, with all three visitors fielding rotated or mixed teams, which further stoked anger.

Pressure rises as Santos now face four straight away games. They visit Bahia and Palmeiras in the Campeonato Brasileiro, then San Lorenzo and Recoleta in the Copa Sul-Americana.

The tie will be decided on 13 May at Couto Pereira in Curitiba. Santos will need to win the second leg to reach the round of 16.
