According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos have been fined R$ 1,000 by the TJD’s First Disciplinary Commission for delaying the second-half restart in the draw with Red Bull Bragantino in the fifth round of the Paulistão on 25 January at Neo Química Arena.

The hearing was held on Monday and the panel’s decision was unanimous.

Lawyer Marcelo Trevisan de Góes represented the club. Referee Daiane Muniz recorded in her match report that the second half resumed one minute late due to a three-minute delay by Santos.

The club were charged under Article 206 of the CBJD, which covers causing a delay to the start or restart of a match, with penalties ranging from R$ 100 to R$ 1,000 per minute.

Santos have also been fined for restart delays in three other state games, R$ 3,000 against Guarani at Brinco de Ouro, R$ 2,000 against Novorizontino at Vila Belmiro, and R$ 2,000 in the derby with Palmeiras at Arena Barueri.
