Santos have six at risk for Botafogo clash, Neymar and Schmidt out | OneFootball

According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos travel to Botafogo on Thursday 16 with six players one booking from suspension in the Brasileirão. The match at Nilton Santos kicks off at 19:30 in the 19th round.

The six are defender Luan Peres, left-back Escobar, midfielders Gabriel Menino and João Schmidt, and Gabriel Bontempo and Neymar Jr.

João Schmidt felt thigh discomfort and has been rested, while Neymar Jr is also absent as he is due to report back tomorrow.

Forward Gabriel Barbosa is suspended after being sent off for an obscene gesture against Vitória in the previous round.

Ten other Santos players are on yellows in the competition, namely goalkeepers Brazão and Diógenes, defenders Adonis Frías, Lucas Veríssimo and João Ananias, full-back Igor Vinicius, midfielders Arão, Miguelito and Rollheiser, and forward Thaciano.
