Santos have made no changes to their registered squad for the final phase of the 2026 Paulistão.
According to Diario Do Peixe, the club received a fresh FIFA transfer ban on 19 February 2026 over an approximately R$16 million debt to Arouca related to the signing of centre-back João Basso. The sanction blocks new player registrations until the debt is settled.
Santos could have made up to four List A changes but retained the existing names given the legal situation and tight deadlines. Players such as Billal Brahimi, Tiquinho Soares, Gustavo Caballero and JP Chermont are not in current plans.
Midfielder Christian Oliva, signed in February, will not feature in the Paulistão because he was not registered in time. The board determined there was insufficient time to complete his international transfer, work visa and contract formalities before the Federação Paulista de Futebol’s extraordinary window shut on Friday 20.
List A, capped at 35 players, closed on 13 February, with Santos listing 32. List B is unlimited and reserved for academy products aged at least 16 and born in or before 2005.
