Amazonas sign Bernardo Paias on loan from Santos | OneFootball

Amazonas announced on Saturday 21 that 20-year-old midfielder Bernardo Paias has joined on loan from Santos for the rest of the 2026 season.

He will bolster their creative options as the Onça-pintada contest the Campeonato Amazonense, Copa Norte, Copa do Brasil and Série C do Brasileiro.

Preparing for his first involvement at senior level, he expressed gratitude for the chance and said he will work hard to help meet the club’s targets.

Born in Ribeirão Preto, Bernardo Paias Ferreira came through the youth ranks at São Paulo and Santos, playing from under-11 to under-20. This year he featured in the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior for Santos, supplying four assists.

He arrives on loan and remains under contract with his parent club until December. His release clause is around 100 million euros.

Already integrated, the midfielder is training with the squad led by head coach Márcio Fernandes.

Amazonas face Imperatriz-MA on Wednesday 25 at 18:30 Manaus time in the Copa do Brasil second round at Estádio Frei Epifânio, in Maranhão’s interior. If it is level, the tie will be settled on penalties.
