Santos loanee Sandry has been absent from Criciúma’s daily routine for one month, with his first no-show recorded on 29 April during a session led by head coach Eduardo Baptista. The midfielder is contracted to Santos and on loan with the Santa Catarina club until the end of 2026, having cited personal issues in late April.
"Sandry has a current contract with Criciúma, it is an agreement between clubs. Sandry asked to be released for personal reasons, we do not know which. The club is notifying the player and Santos every day so they are aware he is not in the daily routine," said executive Thiago Gasparino, speaking to ge.
"We are now waiting to see what Santos intend to do with the player. We are doing what is within our reach. The days he has not reported are being discounted under the agreement we have with Santos and the player."
His last outing was on 7 March, a 3-2 win over Camboriú. He was then named as a substitute in three Série B matches before his absence.
