Santos make R$ 6.5 million from Neymar tribute shirt | OneFootball

Santos have generated R$ 6.5 million in the first year of sales of their turquoise blue shirt, launched last year as a tribute to Neymar and echoing the club’s 2012 design.

According to Globo.com, the shirt has been on sale since the end of May 2025 and accounts for 36% of revenue from the official stores, rising to 45% when considering products sold from 30 May last year to now.

In the period, 63% of units were customised with Neymar and the number 10, while the 2025/2026 home kit was the next best seller.

The club regards the launch, in partnership with Umbro, as a major success, pointing to strong uptake among supporters and the pull of an idol’s return.

Design touches honour Neymar. The polo collar recalls how he liked to play with it raised, and the back carries the line "Eu vou mas... eu volto!", matching the way he wrote it in 2013 at CT Rei Pelé after his Barcelona move was finalised.

A front hem patch shows a crown with the word "príncipe", his club nickname, with a P that subtly forms the number 10 and a capital N in the lettering.
