According to Diario Do Peixe, Santos ranked third for YouTube audience in July, behind Flamengo and Palmeiras and ahead of Corinthians.

They are also third in the 2026 total with 122 million views, ahead of Atlético-MG on 34 million and Vasco on 29 million.

The July haul alone would be enough for eighth on the annual list, meaning one month outstrips some rivals' year-long totals.

The club is among the most active on YouTube and has increased its output of Shorts and posts since last year. Those formats account for 90% of the more than 122 million views in 2026, 47% from posts and 43% from Shorts.

Santos recently became the third Brazilian club to surpass 28 million followers across the five main social platforms, Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok.

President Marcelo Teixeira linked July's and 2026's results to wider social growth and said that the club led new followers in 2025, and continues to lead growth in 2026. He argued the strategy is on the right track, increasing reach and engagement, expanding the brand at home and abroad, enhancing digital properties and attracting big brands.

Marketing and business executive Caio Lacerda said July's third place, in a month that featured the World Cup final and the season's restart, showed planning for that transition kept fans engaged. He added that a disciplined, varied content mix, timely publishing, immersive day-to-day material and smart use of the platform's tools underpin the trend.
