Santos release extra tickets for Novorizontino opener as Gabigol prepares for re-debut

Santos have released an extra allocation of tickets for Saturday's match against Novorizontino at Vila Belmiro, which kicks off at 16:00. The club said in a statement that additional seats had been put on sale.

Tickets for the fixture had been snapped up early in the week, with sales estimated at more than 11,000.

The game will also mark the team's season opener in the Paulistão. It is set to be Gabigol's return in a Santos shirt, now wearing number nine after joining on loan from Cruzeiro until the end of the year.

Tickets are being sold via the Sócio Rei website at www.sociorei.com.br.

Santos have not won the Campeonato Paulista since 2016. This year they will also compete in the Copa do Brasil, the Campeonato Brasileiro and the Copa Sul-Americana.
