Santos sign Philippe Coutinho on deal to end of 2026 | OneFootball

Santos have signed Philippe Coutinho on a contract running to the end of 2026, according to Diario Do Peixe.

Born in Rio de Janeiro on 12 June 1992, Philippe Coutinho Correia came through at Vasco da Gama, making his senior debut at 17 before joining Internazionale in 2010.

After a loan at Espanyol, he moved to Liverpool in January 2013, playing 201 matches and scoring 54 goals. He became a key figure for the Reds and was widely regarded as one of the leading players in the game.

Barcelona signed him in 2018, where he won two La Liga titles, the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup. In 2019/20 he was loaned to Bayern Munich, contributing to a treble of Bundesliga, German Cup and Champions League.

Coutinho later played for Aston Villa and Al-Duhail, then returned to Vasco in 2024. Across his two spells there he made 125 appearances, scoring 22 goals.

For Brazil, he has 68 caps and 21 goals, winning the 2019 Copa América, having previously lifted the 2011 Under-20 World Cup.

He becomes Santos’ fifth signing of the current window, following Arthur, Rodinei, Lima and Everton Cebolinha.
