Santos will face Palmeiras in the Copa do Brasil quarter-finals after Tuesday's draw in Rio de Janeiro, and will host the return leg.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the ties were set at the federation's headquarters on eleven August. The CBF calendar lists first legs on 26 or 27 August, with returns on two or three September.

If they advance, Santos will meet the winner of Vasco v Vitória in the semi-finals. The opposite side of the bracket features Grêmio v Internacional and Cruzeiro v Atlético-MG.

Santos entered in the fifth phase and eliminated Coritiba, drawing 0-0 at Vila Belmiro then winning 2-0 at Couto Pereira. They then edged Remo in the last 16, 0-0 at home and 1-0 away at the Mangueirão. Scorers: Bontempo, Adonis Frías and Rony. They are unbeaten in four matches, scoring three without conceding.
