Santos continue preparations to face Botafogo in the 19th round of the Campeonato Brasileiro, with Gabriel Bontempo and Moisés likely to miss out. The sides meet on Thursday at 19:30 Brasília time at Nilton Santos.

As reported by Globo.com, the squad trained on Tuesday morning at CT Rei Pelé and Bontempo, a midfielder, is managing pain in the pubic area. He is in a transition phase on to the pitch and, unlike last week, is already working in boots, but will only rejoin full sessions once the discomfort has gone.

Forward Moisés is treating a sprain in his right ankle sustained in a friendly against União São João. The pair are not expected to be named by coach Cuca for the Botafogo game.

Cuca oversaw a tactical workout on Tuesday, with additional drills on set plays and finishing. The team will hold a final session on Wednesday morning before travelling to Rio de Janeiro.

A probable Santos XI includes Gabriel Brazão, Gabriel Menino or Igor Vinícius, Lucas Veríssimo, Luan Peres, Escobar, Willian Arão, Gustavo Henrique, Rollheiser, Miguelito, Thaciano or Rony, and Barreal.
