According to Diario Do Peixe, São Paulo have absences and reinforcements for Friday's meeting with Santos at Morumbis, kicking off at 20:00. The game is a rearranged fixture for the 21st round of the Brasileirão.

Midfielders Newton, recovered from trauma to his right thigh, and Bobadilla, back from a right knee medial collateral ligament injury, have resumed work with the squad and could return.

Domingos Duarte is out as he recovers from a right knee ACL injury. Full-back Aurélio Buta has a lateral meniscus issue in the same knee, attacking midfielder Lucas Moura is sidelined with an Achilles problem, and forwards Jonathan Calleri, suspended for bookings, and Lucca, recovering from a fractured jaw, also miss out.

The likely line-up named by Dorival Jr includes Rafael, Arboleda, Sabino, Rafael Tolói, Iago Borduchi, Lucas Ramon, Pablo Maia (Danielzinho), Marcos Antônio, Luciano, Gustavo Santana (Ferreirinha) and Arthur.

For Santos, goalkeeper Gabriel Brazão is recovering after surgery on his left shoulder, while centre-back Luan Peres is suspended. Attacking midfielders Gabriel Bontempo, suspended and with the Brazil national team, Miguelito with Bolivia, and Neymar Jr, in transition after a type two B rectus femoris injury to his right thigh, plus forward Gustavo Caballero with Paraguay, are unavailable.

Willian Arão, back from an abdominal muscle injury, and Barreal, recovered from a grade two A biceps femoris injury, trained fully this week and should be in the squad. Philippe Coutinho has been involved in training, and Cebolinha, returning from suspension, should also be listed.
