Lazio face a reshuffle after injuries to Daniel Maldini and Adam Marusic on the eve of Monday’s trip to Fiorentina.

Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Maldini has an inflamed patellar tendon, ruling him out of the match in Florence, and he will be assessed before next weekend’s meeting with Napoli.

Marusic has a muscle problem that could be a strain, he is likely to miss Napoli and also risks sitting out the Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Atalanta on 22 April.

Both are near-automatic picks under Maurizio Sarri, so fresh selections are needed. Maldini is likely to be replaced by Boulaye Dia, who is ahead of Petar Ratkov.

Out wide remains undecided, with Tijjani Noslin and Matteo Cancellieri pushing Pedro and Gustav Isaksen. Mattia Zaccagni should return to the squad after training with the group, but he is not ready to start.

With Marusic absent, Manuel Lazzari should start at right-back after an impressive cameo against Parma, alongside Alessio Romagnoli, Oliver Provstgaard and Nuno Tavares.

In midfield, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru should be available after muscle fatigue, though Sarri could turn to Toma Basic despite over two months without an appearance. A probable 4-3-3 is Motta, Lazzari, Romagnoli, Provstgaard, Tavares, Basic or Dele-Bashiru with Danilo Cataldi and Taylor, then Isaksen or Cancellieri with Dia and Pedro or Noslin.
