Sasa Kalajdzic is poised to leave Wolves for LASK on a permanent move after an agreement was reached.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the Austria international will return to the club where he spent last season on loan, ending a four-year stay at Molineux. He will depart on a free transfer, with a 50 per cent sell-on clause included.

The 29-year-old watched Wolves beat Stoke 4-1 on Saturday, then said his goodbyes to team-mates and staff.

Kalajdzic joined from Eintracht Frankfurt for £15.4million in August 2022 and suffered a serious knee injury on his debut, missing nearly a year. He made just 16 appearances for Wolves, scoring two goals, and later sustained another major knee injury while on loan at Eintracht.

He scored six goals on loan for LASK last season, helping them win the Austrian title. He was then called up by Austria and featured in three matches at this summer’s World Cup.

This summer Kalajdzic had been among a group training away from the first team while seeking a move.
