Saúl Ñíguez’s TikTok training post drew mockery from Flamengo fans after the background track featured an explicit lyric about buying a sex toy, with 3.6 million views in 24 hours.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the clip showed the Spaniard working in the rain with a calm caption, while the provocative funk soundtrack jarred with the footage. It was not his first viral moment, and his X account, formerly Twitter, is notably active.

Supporters questioned why team-mates had not warned him, some suggested he did it on purpose, and others felt he likely did not know the translation.

Some players allow third parties to manage their social media, and TikTok can auto-select songs, so the soundtrack is not always chosen by the footballer.
