Scaloni hails Flaco López after first senior Argentina goal | OneFootball

Flaco López scored his first senior goal for Argentina, and Lionel Scaloni praised the Palmeiras striker after the match.

According to Nosso Palestra, the Argentina manager described the Palmeiras No 42 as a complete forward and lauded his attitude.

Scaloni said López presses well and makes the most of his chances when introduced, adding that his behaviour stands out.

He also underlined the player's versatility, saying López can operate as a leading striker, a second striker or from the right as a false winger.

López has been earning more call-ups under Scaloni and is aiming to establish himself as an attacking option for the world champions.

Beyond the individual praise, Scaloni commended the squad's commitment during the international window and said he was proud of their desire to be involved.
