Scamacca back in Roma’s sights: the striker has already spoken with several Giallorossi players

According to today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport, Atalanta striker Gianluca Scamacca has spoken with several Giallorossi players and could be one of the reinforcements for the attack ahead of next summer.

Given the likely departures of Ferguson and Dovbyk, the Roman club will inevitably need at least a new striker.

Vaz’s future remains to be seen, but another striker to give Malen a rest seems necessary.

Qualifying for the Champions League is crucial: if Roma were to get back in, a partnership with Scamacca would be highly likely, and the centre-forward would come to the capital to carve out a starting spot or at least return to the rotation ahead of a season that would often see the Giallorossi play every three days.
