Kicker reports that Schalke are expected to make Kevin Müller’s loan from 1.FC Heidenheim permanent ahead of their Bundesliga return.
On paper nothing has been signed, yet the remaining paperwork is being treated as a formality.
The 35-year-old joined on loan for the second half of last season from 1.FC Heidenheim.
He made four appearances for the Royal Blues, recording one clean sheet.
His Heidenheim contract runs until 2027, and after 11 years with the club, difficult negotiations over a fee are not anticipated.
