Coach Renna's Primavera were back to picking up points at the 'Sportitalia Village,' clinching a draw against Verona in the second half thanks to captain Scotti, after the visitors took a short-lived lead from Pavanati. The Rossoneri created lots of opportunities with Plazzotta, Ossola, Pandolfi, and Lontani, all putting the Verona goalkeeper to the test on several occasions.
With this crucial point against a team coming off two back-to-back wins over Genoa and Lazio, AC Milan aim to stay securely in the group of teams currently fighting for a playoff spot. The next chance to maintain their rhythm will be on Friday, 12 December at the Centro Sportivo Crespellano, just outside Bologna: a match against an immediate competitor, and an opportunity to climb the standings.
