Sean Dyche has confirmed his Nottingham Forest XI to face Arsenal at the City Ground, with Ibrahim Sangare straight back in after Africa Cup of Nations duty. The midfielder had missed the last six games, and Dyche makes nine changes, with only Matz Sels and Igor Jesus keeping their places from the cup tie.

According to Nottingham Post, Forest return to Premier League action after their FA Cup shootout defeat by Wrexham, a tie after which Dyche called the first half unacceptable. They know they will need to hit their best levels against the title-chasing visitors.

Arsenal loanee Oleksandr Zinchenko is ineligible to face his parent club. Forest beat relegation rivals West Ham United in their last league game, though there remains work to do in the survival fight and no room for complacency.

Sels starts behind a back four of Ola Aina, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo and Neco Williams. Sangare partners Elliot Anderson in midfield, with Nicolas Dominguez and Callum Hudson-Odoi out wide and Morgan Gibbs-White supporting Igor Jesus.

Ryan Yates returns on the bench after injury. The substitutes are Angus Gunn, Morato, Taiwo Awoniyi, Luiz, Ndoye, Hutchinson, McAtee and Savona.
