Kicker report that Bundesliga side Hoffenheim have reached an agreement in principle to re-sign 31-year-old midfielder Sebastian Rudy on a two-year contract until 2023.
The former Germany international had terminated his contract at Schalke following their relegation and has since put feelers out there before making a decision on a return to Hoffenheim.
Per the report, Roma, Napoli and Bologna had shown interest in signing Rudy on a free transfer but the defensive midfielder opted for the familiar environment of Sinsheim.
