Ferran Torres turned the tie in the 71st minute with a cool finish, sparking Paris Saint-Germain's fightback in a 2-2 draw at Rennes.

The Spaniard's impact was instant and direct. Latching onto Fabián Ruiz's lofted pass, he ran in behind and slid his shot through Brice Samba (71.). From there, PSG's front line carried greater threat.

He then levelled with a deft header from Ruiz's left-sided cross (82.), guiding the ball across goal and into the bottom right corner. The timing of his runs repeatedly asked questions of the home defence.

Torres finished with two attempts, both on target and both scored. He also supplied one key pass and completed eight passes in the final third, while adding two interceptions to underline his pressing contribution.

With Rennes defending deep for long spells, his movement into space behind the back line became the clearest route to goal, and his understanding with Ruiz decided the biggest moments.
