Seko Fofana to arrive Wednesday to finalise FC Porto return

According to O Jogo, Ivory Coast international Seko Fofana is due to arrive in Porto on Wednesday morning to finalise his return to FC Porto.

He had been scheduled to land on Tuesday at Francisco Sá Carneiro airport, but the trip was pushed back for logistical reasons only, with no late hitch.

On arrival he will undergo medical and physical tests before signing a deal running until June 2027.

FC Porto and Rennes have agreed a fresh loan that carries no cost to the national champions beyond wages, with no purchase option for the 31-year-old.

Fofana spent the second half of last season at the club, and he is expected to begin training under Francesco Farioli on Thursday.
