Sékou Doucouré set to extend Nantes contract to 2029

Sékou Doucouré, the 21-year-old Nantes centre-back, is set to sign a new deal with the club.

L'Équipe reports that he is also expected to prolong his stay, following goalkeeper Alexis Mirbach and full-back Frédéric Guilbert.

Doucouré is currently under contract until 2027, and the extension would add two years, taking him to 2029.

He joined from PSG in the summer of 2024.

Used mainly in N3 this season, he started the final match against Toulouse on Sunday, which was stopped in the 22nd minute.
