Başakşehir beat Konyaspor 2-0 at the Başakşehir Fatih Terim Stadyumu, securing back-to-back Süper Lig wins to stay sixth.
Davie Selke opened the scoring in the 52nd minute, glancing in Yusuf Sari's cross on a fast break. Selke then swept in Christopher Operi's centre (61.) to put clear daylight between the sides.
Muhammed Sengezer preserved the cushion, tipping away Kazeem Olaigbe's low drive (67.) as Konyaspor pushed for a reply.
After Ivan Brnic replaced Yusuf Sari (69.), Nuri Sahin introduced Onur Bulut and Onur Ergun (76.). The hosts managed the game and nearly added a third when Nuno da Costa headed over in the third minute of second half stoppage time.
Başakşehir finished with 12 attempts and 54.1% possession. Konyaspor registered 11 attempts and were caught offside eight times.
Next, Başakşehir host Trabzonspor in the Türkiye Kupasi. Konyaspor visit Eyüpspor in the same competition.
