The Serbia vs Hungary UEFA Nations League match will be broadcast live online and on TV as the Eagles host the Magyars at Red Star Stadium this Sunday, October 11, at 11:45 a.m. Pacific.
Serbia is coming off a huge 2-1 win against Norway in the UEFA EURO qualifiers in what proved to be a dramatic match. Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic was the hero of the game as he came off the bench and scored a goal in the 81st minute then scored the game-winning goal in extra-time.
Serbia’s midfield is stacked with talent with players like Milinkovic-Savic, Dusan Tadic of Ajax and Nemanja Maksimovic of Getafe. Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic leads the attack for Serbia and the backline is also solid with veteran fullback Aleksandar Kolarov leading it.
Hungary is coming off a dominant 3-1 win against Bulgaria in the UEFA EURO qualifiers and will be looking to keep that momentum. The win in the EURO qualifiers was a solid team effort by the Magyars with goals by Willi Orban, Zsolt Kalmar and Nemanja Nikolic.
In the Nations League, Hungary has three points from two games with a 3-2 loss to Russia and a 1-0 win against Turkey. Manager Marco Rossi usually uses a three-back formation with Hungary that can be tough to surpass with Peter Gulacsi in net.
