Sereias da Vila announce Mariana Larroquette on deal to 2027 | OneFootball

Sereias da Vila have signed Argentina forward Mariana Larroquette on a deal to the end of 2027, their ninth addition for the season.

According to Diario Do Peixe, she joins alongside goalkeepers Taty Amaro and Mayara, defender Isa Cardoso, full-backs Katrine and Leticia Santos, midfielders Yoreli Rincón and Vivian, and forward Eudimilla.

The 33-year-old arrives for her first spell in Brazilian football and has played at two World Cups. She said she is happy to join a historic club, targets a positive year and welcomes Brazil’s competitive calendar.

Born in Ituzaingó, she began at River Plate from 2010 to 2015, then played for Universidad de Chile, UAI Urquiza, Lyn, Kansas City Current, Sporting and León. In 2023 she joined Orlando Pride alongside Marta, before spells with Newell’s Old Boys and Lexington.

Head coach Caio Couto has renewed and, with women’s football coordinator Thais Picarte, overseen more than 15 contract extensions. Several others remain under longer deals.

There have been 8 exits, including goalkeepers Ágatha, Aghata and Karen Hipólito, plus Raissa Calheiros, Livia Mathias, Leidiane, Júlia Daltoé and Marussi. Sereias return to the Brazilian top flight, plus the state competition and the Copa do Brasil. Brasileirão A1 runs 15 February to 4 October, with the Copa do Brasil from 22 April to 15 November.
