Sereias da Vila sign 28-year-old midfielder Vivian until season’s end | OneFootball

Santos’ women’s side, the Sereias da Vila, have signed midfielder Vivian on a deal running to the end of this season.

According to Diario Do Peixe, the 28-year-old is their seventh addition for the campaign, joining goalkeepers Taty Amaro and Mayara, full-backs Katrine and Leticia Santos, midfielder Yoreli Rincón and forward Eudimilla.

Vivian arrives after a standout year with Red Bull Bragantino and said the move realises a dream formed at 12, when she watched the Libertadores-winning side of Marta, Cristiane, Maurine and others and told her parents she wanted to live that life.

She believes Santos have the tools to chase major targets this season, citing the quality already in the squad and new facilities being provided for the players. With further arrivals, she said they aim to compete for big prizes and restore the club to its customary level.

Born in Osasco, Vivian Cardoso dos Santos began her senior career at São Bernardo FC. Her Brazilian clubs include Juventus (SP), Botafogo (RJ), Real Brasília (DF) and São Paulo, before Red Bull Bragantino most recently.
