Sergio Agüero sends message of praise to Barcelona star Rashford | OneFootball

Former Barcelona star Sergio Agüero has this week moved to reveal his appreciation for the early efforts of Marcus Rashford in the colours of the Blaugrana.

This of course comes in the midst of a stellar run of form on the part of the Englishman.

Rashford linked up with Barca this past summer, in a season-long loan deal from Premier League giants Manchester United.

And after something of a shaky start to life in Catalunya’s capital, recent weeks have seen the 27-year-old explode into life.

Amid an injury crisis in Hansi Flick’s squad, Rashford has taken full advantage, locking down the left flank courtesy of a run of seven goal contributions in seven appearances.

And as alluded to above, left thoroughly impressed by such exploits has been another one-time frontman in Barcelona.

Speaking during an interview with Stake, as cited by Mundo Deportivo, this week, ex-Manchester City and Barcelona goalscorer Sergio Agüero explained:

“Marcus Rashford’s start at Barcelona is doubly admirable. He’s started very well, being useful to the team with assists and goals.

“He’s adapted very well. The manager will decide who starts or not.”
