Sergio Gómez says 18 April match will be different, urges wins before final

Sergio Gómez, born in Badalona in 2000, has featured in virtually every game under Matarazzo and is among the squad’s top minute earners.

According to Diario Vasco, the full back said the match on 18 April will be nothing like the previous meeting.

He reflected that despite a poor performance, they were still close.

Gómez added that the situation felt similar to the derby.

He stressed that to arrive at the final in good shape they need to win matches beforehand.
