Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy will have to wait to receive a deserved pay rise at the club.
There is no doubt that Guirassy is die Schwarzgelben’s best player, but like other Dortmund players in the past, such as Robert Lewandowski and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Guirassy will have to wait to receive a pay rise.
Due to Dortmund’s spending in the summer, which nearly reached €100m, they are currently not thinking about offering the 29-year-old a pay rise, as there is little money to do so.
However, if Dortmund receive an ‘immoral’ offer for Guirassy, then they may even consider selling their star striker. Guirassy’s contract at Dortmund does not expire until 2028, while he is also valued at €45m by transfermarkt.
The Guinean is Dortmund’s top scorer with four goals in three games in all competitions. In the opening Bundesliga games, Guirassy has looked like a real threat in front of goal, and could have scored even more after missing a penalty against St.Pauli and several easy chances against Union Berlin.
