Milan host Serie A new boys Venezia with Goncalo Ramos and Alphadjo Cisse, but Luka Modric gets his first club start since April with Davide Bartesaghi.

It kicks off at San Siro at 19.45 UK time (20.45 CEST).

The Rossoneri opened their campaign with a hard-fought 2-1 victory away to Torino, although the deadlock was only broken once Adrien Rabiot came off the bench to provide an assist for Cisse and score the second himself moments later.

Coach Ruben Amorim is making his debut at the iconic Stadio Meazza and makes two changes, as Modric steps in for Ardon Jashari, while Bartesaghi is preferred to Pervis Estupinan.

Rafael Leao, Samuele Ricci, Santiago Gimenez, Youssouf Fofana, Fikayo Tomori and Warren Bondo are all left out pending transfers.

It is reported that Leao will be present today to salute the fans ahead of his transfer to Galatasaray.

This is the first match at San Siro since the passing of Milan legend Franco Baresi, so he will be remembered before kick-off, along with the return of the huge flag in the Curva Sud.

Venezia already face an uphill struggle for survival after losing their opening game 2-0 at home to Lecce, although they were unlucky to repeatedly hit the woodwork.

Andrea Adorante, Matias Moreno and Marin Sverko are still on the treatment table.

John Yeboah and big investment from Sevilla Akor Adams lead the attack once more, with USMNT midfielder Gianluca Busio as captain.

The only change sees Ridgeciano Haps come in for Thierry Correia.
